that street is on sisowath quay..when i went there i stayed at the hotels along that road and i did notice some sad stuff like a mother with 3 kids sleeping by the buildings at night time and i donate some money to her but what touched me even more was a white lady who gave her $10. some people are very generous. but that road is very very beautiful and its so relaxing and joyful just to walk through it around 6 pm when everyone is off work and enjoying life. visit cambodia everyone
Thanks so much for this impressive and sad documentary. Through Plan International we have a foster child be support and this film shows how important such help is.
You have done such a wonderful job with this video…it is so sensitive and thought provoking…I just love the choice of Megan as narrator… and your Cambodia blog is so detailed and personal one gets a very good feel of what it is like to be there…I am a fellow Los Angelino…how can we help? how is the Small Voices editing coming and when can we look forward to being able to see the finished project?
A very sensible and well thought out documentary Heather, well done. Enough to be thinking about, enough for us to all have a conscious. More than anything though, you gave us a glimmer of hope. Be it through yourself dedicating your time and energy to such a cause or through the documentary film itself. The smiles of the little children gave me such hope.
They haven’t given up, and neither must we. Amber, Vienna.
This is an excellent video. It really moved me. I am definitely sending my donation to your cause. I look forward to viewing the completed documentary.

beautiful work on a heartwrenching story, heather…i’m pleased to share it with colleagues and friends and very proud to bear witness to your expression of the power of one…z
Heather, you are welcome. The last eight months I lived in Thailand I had to go to Cambodia once a month to get my visa updated. We did this through the border town of Aranyaphratet and it was an eye opener. The poverty is unimaginable to most Westerners, myself included. Bravo on this doc and your work…people really have no idea.
Whenever you think your life here in the States is bad, watch something life this. A great reality check. I have been to Cambodia and this story tears at your heart.

it was amazing
How can anyone express in words what the Khmer Rouge has done to such a beautiful country and it’s people. God bless them all.
Incredible. Heartbreaking and very well done.
What a horrifying and necessary look at Cambodia’s children. Thanks for opening my eyes, Heather.
